Premise: Jane is a young New York woman who never seems to find the right man--perhaps because of her secret obsession with Mr. Darcy, as played by Colin Firth in the BBC adaptation of Pride and prejudice. When a wealthy relative bequeaths her a trip to an English resort catering to Austen-obsessed women, however, Jane's fantasies of meeting the perfect Regency-era gentleman suddenly become more real than she ever could have imagined. Is this total immersion in a fake Austenland enough to make Jane kick the Austen obsession for good, or could all her dreams actually culminate in a Mr. Darcy of her own? (King County Library System)
Opinions: A very fluffy read that I think most Jane Austen and "chick-lit" lovers will enjoy. I happen to know a couple girls that are very Austen-obsessed and I got the giggles when I imagined them in Austenland. I also really liked that I wasn’t exactly sure how the book would end.

Stephanie's Note: I really love this book. I just had to put in my plug for it as well. I thought it was so funny. If you like the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice you will love this movie. :)
(Don't forget to read the dedication. I thought it was hysterical.)
