Premise (be brief): - "This is the book you wish your mother had had when you were a kid. It's a kinder, gentler, funnier, and more realistic approach to mothering that allows both parents and children to achieve their full potential-and with more than enough good times to go around. Joni writes in a way that is utterly charming, tender, believable, and brimming with exceptional insights and advice. You'll laugh . . . you'll cry . . . you'll love it! And your kids will thank you for having the good sense to read it." - Book Back
Opinions: Sometimes life can seem so overwhelming that you wonder if you are ruining your kids for life. This book helps you to take a step back and see what really matters when raising children. This book has helped me to better prioritize my life so that I can keep my sanity while realizing what a joy and a blessing it is to be raising a child. If your stressed, if you wonder if you can keep doing it...then take a moment...lock yourself in the bathroom and take a long bath while reading this book.
